Ladies and gentlemen, we are on the iPhone!

I am very excited to announce that you can now read Turtle Guitar and Where Grows The Bitter Herb on your iPhone and iPod Touch! Turtle Guitar is available FREE, and Where Grows The Bitter Herb comes at a fraction of the print cost, each story has been converted by hand for optimum readability on the iPhone and the fantastic iRobot Comics Viewer displays them perfectly.

Turtle Guitar in ‘Choices’

Hi everyone!
My comic Turtle Guitar is in the new Layer Zero (by Insomnia Publications). Layer Zero No. 3 is entitled Choices and it is released on the 11th of May. Layer Zero is a collection of fresh comics artwork and stories by young and emerging creatives, you can pre order the book on Amazon, or if your going to the Bristol Comics Expo this year Insomnia will have it available there – I can’t wait to take a look!

Invitation to the World of Afar…

Today I am excited to be launching a new minisite dedicated to the world in which my comics Turtle Guitar and Where Grows the Bitter Herb are set! I have plans to expand this world with further stories and artwork, there will be a new comic coming next year, more details on that soon(ish)!

As well as information on the current comics, the World of Afar website will also act as a collection of lore for the world. This begins in the Bestiary section where you can find out more about some of the critters you may have already met in the comics.

I am looking forward to growing the site slowly, over the coming months as we lead towards the launch of the next comic. New creatures will be added, glimpses into new stories or new locations and a bunch of Tunes from Afar, the audio section which is currently a work in progress but will feature audio tracks to accompany the stories, adding another level of atmosphere! So what are you waiting for…

Traveling Man

My comic Turtle Guitar is now available in Traveling Man stores in Leeds, York, Newcastle and Manchester, so go hunt it out in its full colour fantastical glory!

I also heard that Traveling Man Newcastle are having a Small Press Rodeo this coming Saturday (how cool is that!), which will feature Turtle Guitar, as well as, I am sure, a ton of other fantastic small press work, so if you can, check it out – I wish I could go!

London Underground Comics

The guys at London Underground Comics are doing a great service to the UK small press scene, by providing a way for small pressers to get their work ‘out there’, to the people.

They have been kind enough to take some copies of Turtle Guitar and Whale Hunt! So why not get on down to Camden Lock Market this Saturday (and every Saturday!) and pickup a copy (and one for each of your friends too)!
