‘Bitter Herb iPhone, FREE for limited time!

Below is a quote from the Robot Comics website, they say it better than I would, so here goes!

Bitter Herb FREE on iTunes and Android!

Ben Powis’ Original Mobile Graphic Novel – Where Grows the Bitter Herb – will be available for FREE download on iTunes marketplace for 7 special days only!

Next week, starting November 30th and ending midnight December 8th, the price on Bitter Herb will be dropped to absolutely free on iTunes and $0.99 on Android (due to the rules regarding the Android Market, Bitter Herb will not be offered for free there at this time).

Ben’s work has wowed professionals and readers alike, and we here at Robot Comics feel that Ben’s mobile work has produced some of the most unique and re-readable comics on the mobile market today.  His one-shot Turtle Guitar was released for free on the iTunes and Android Market and continues to be popular with mobile owners.  His lengthier Bitter Herb epic was posted originally for $1.99 download.

It’s six hours before midnight on 8-Dec, and the app is no longer free.

It would have been much clearer and avoided the obvious ambiguity if you’d written “starting November 30th and ending at 23:59 on December 7th”. As it stands it’s easy to think it will still be free on 8-Dec.

And now, as it’s not free, maybe the page should be changed.

    Hi Niall,
Sorry for the confusion, the promotion has been managed by the US publisher and the timescale is in their/Apples hands, apologies if it was a bit off! In good news – Bitter Herb is now cheaper than before, so you can pick it up for a few pennies!
