The Theory was simple enough, so the old scriptures said. Exactly the correct weight of frogs mixed in with the other regents would yield a mixture capable of turning water into liquid gold, there was only one way to find out…

And this industrious group certainly appears as if they will pull it off. What a GREAT idea, so original, comical … and fabulously depicted. Sometimes the Illo’s make my brain feel SO SLOW (as in ‘duh’) — this one did, but boy is it a fun sensation to appreciate wicked creativity in others!

Love the colors and that sense of movement coming from the cauldron. I am big fan of cauldrons, need to find more excuses to work them in.

Very nice! I like the color, and all the little details are great. Nice green stuff forming there, looks deliciously promising. I just hope that frog is already dead.

This is great! Those green plumes are awesome. Let’s hope they don’t turn into gold while they’re up there, could get messy!
